Hi everyone,
In Art these past two weeks we have been creating a Christmas designed drawing. The theme of the picture is all about Christmas and is a magnified image of what a branch with baubles would look like.
During the process of making them we had to use green food dye and a straw to blow the liquid into different directions to make the shape of a Christmas branch. We then used watercolors to form the colour of the baubles followed by a collage at the end.
A challenge that I faced whilst going through the design process would be blowing the food dye with a straw because it can make you feel quite light headed at times.
Something that I enjoyed was pasting the baubles onto my picture because I think that they look really lovely behind the green background, and really look like a magnified Christmas tree!
I am most proud of the whole picture itself as it turned out great and makes me feel really excited for Christmas.
Overall, I really enjoyed creating this Christmas drawing because it was fun to make and looks really good.
