Hi everyone,
This term in reading we have been assigned into new literature circle groups and have been given a new novel to study.
I am in red group and am currently reading a novel called “Little Brother” by Allan Baillie.
Something that I am determined to achieve this term in literature circles is to make sure that when I complete a novel based task that I complete it to a high standard and that I put the time and effort into making it detailed.
What I have noticed about the book “Little Brother” is that it was first published in 1985 and that the copy that I am reading is the newer and more updated version. In my first impressions of the novel I thought that it was a new book that has just been released because of the style and layout of the front cover, however now I have realized that it has been around for quite some time now.
I felt that I was successful in my literature circle task of making text connections as I thought about each one very carefully and tried to relate them to modern and current issues globally and in the media.
Overall, I am very excited to continue on reading my literature circle novel and to see what happens next.
What book are you currently reading?

Great effort Tess!
Love that you are enjoying Literature Circles, Tess! Well done!
